Nice Nice picture right... well, the Government announced the plan to remake Jurong, turning it into the largest commercial hub outside city area over the next 10 to 15 yrs..

This is part of the Government Draft Master Plan Review 2008 and was announced last friday...

:> is it considered good news to me... looking at the development site plan.. its will lie across 3 different mrt stations. Jurong East Station will consist of office buildings, commerical, transport hubs. Chinese Garden Station (which is within walking distances from my hse) will develop into a recreational centre consisting of lakes, parks.. lastly lakeside station will consist of hotels, more apartments i will expect...

And what will get them coming is a slew of nature—themed and edu—tainment attractions, which will spring up at Lakeside. A new world—class Science Centre will also be built next to the Chinese Garden MRT station.

so so... in 10 to 15 yrs time... my hse area will expect to be very crowded.. it wun be the currently quiet chinese and japanese garden which are currently trapping mosquito and so quiet that i don't dare to walk home alone from there at night...
