Singapore Formula One Night Race
I really started to not believe in planning.. coz everytime we planned for something, it always don't follow.
S'pore is holding the first F1 nite race around City Hall and Raffles Place area... thus its impossible to go into Town.. so we planned to skip town area and go ECP for blading...

However, last minute turned out, we received a call from liang when we are about to embark on the journey to ecp... he cant made it to F1 that nite and he got 2 tickets... thus began my nite to F1...

It was really an experience, can be separated into 3 sections (preparation, actual and after)... as the tickets were damn ex and damn hard to get.. plus liang seats was at the grandstand area...

Preparation was on finding a good location for parking so as to avoid the major jam / crowd after the event..
Actual was it was a street circuit.. so we need to walk.. I was in my blading attire so abit out of outfit especially the feet portion.. we reached abt 6pm where the crowd are already starting to stroll in.. found our seats but left it later by embarking on our trip.. we first walked from the grandstand area (marina bay) to the flyer.. walked back for the F1 practice session then walked from grandstand to padang then back again for the qualifying session at 10pm..
There was tremendous human jam, the entire esplanade area was sealed off and only people who had purchased F1 tickets were allowed to enter. Its really a rich man event as you see people drinking wine, beer, clubbing, sitting on the grass at padang, buying the expensive merchandise etc etc... foreigners from all over the world, holding their country flags, hoping to catch a glimpse of the F1 cars..
After was the traffic control when the event ended, don't forget you that the roads were sealed so traffic in this case is HUMAN... squeezing to the mrt station..

But its was really really a damn good experience, watching Live the race, hearing the loud engine (ya u really need ear plug), seeing the cars hit the railing in front of you, different cars (Porsche, Aston martini etc etc)..

Okie, enough of my whining.. here are the pictures i captured with my diamond.. resolution so so as its was so last minute that we have no time to go back home to take camera.

Hehe.. i really dunno what are these cars...really not my area.. but at least i can recognise Porsche

Lamborghini.. saw 2 rows of it outside Mandarin Oriental Hotel
